ok im gonna do this

i have been avoiding posting on this blog since i set it up. a month ago i lost my step father to cancer. we knew it was comming but his condition declined much more quickly than anyone expected. i have been leary of posting anything about his death for fear of offending anyone in my family. i also feel bad for feeling bad about losing Rudy (my step dad). i have a lovely father who i love very much so who am i to complain. my mother is going through so much pain right now and im sad for me. what the hell is that all about. ug this stinks. so thats why i have been distant. I love Rudy and miss him . he was such a great dad to me when he didnt have to be and i will always be greatfull to him for that. im not going to go on about this but i am going to come back and share the happy goings on in our little mad house.

this is a experiment to see if I am smart enough to upload a photo. It appears as though I am but don't worry I wont get to big headed I know less about computers then my nine year old. These by the way are the brats. aint they sweet? -Kathy

mac and cheese in china?

the kids and i were just pondering weather elizabeth will know the wonder that is kraft macaroni and cheese? is there a chinese equivalant? UG! in honor of our future sister/daughter we are going to start cooking chinese one night a week. i am promising myself that it will not ever consist of frozen potstickers from costco. well see how long that lasts.

Hi There

Hi There The kids and i are starting this blog to help keep friends and family up to date on what is going on in our crazy mixed up house. we are currently a family of five but we are hoping to grow that number next year with a little girl from china. all is quiet around here lately. school is going well for mitchell and kyleigh and connor is doing great with his phonics and his writing. this weekend we should be shopping for halloween costumes. who knows what the kids will all end up being. Kyleigh was set on mary with her little lamb but just today asked if she could be a maid so who knows. have u ever seena "blue knight" costume, i have no clue where to find that but connor has his heart set on it, wish me luck.
